Hello, I’m Harpreet!
As the one-person team behind Harpreet Anand Jewelry, I strive to create wearable sculptures for the body. I experiment with patterns, intentionally disrupting them to transform simple shapes - geometric and organic - into visual explorations of balance. My work occupies the space between order and chaos, meticulous planning and the unpredictability of chance—embracing the tension between these states. Each piece exists in a delicate balance between precision and playfulness, where opposing forces merge to create bold, statement jewelry.
Prioritizing design over material value, my jewelry challenges traditional notions of preciousness, instead celebrating form and craftsmanship. For me, jewelry is not just adornment; it’s an opportunity to explore the boundaries of what jewelry can be — a departure from the expected, pushing the limits of what is possible.

My story
Born and raised in India, I moved to Los Angeles with my family at the age of 12. After attending college in the Bay Area and graduate school in Washington DC, I worked abroad in Asia and Africa before settling in DC in 2009. Always a creative at heart, I discovered my passion for jewelry design later in life.
Although I didn’t attend art school, I’ve taken workshops at the Penland School of Craft, the Baltimore Jewelry Center, and the Art League in Alexandria, VA—all while juggling a full-time career in Global Health and International Development. Harpreet Anand Jewelry marks my second career, and I’m excited to see where it takes me.
