FAQs
How does shipping work?
1
All pieces are hand-fabricated in my Washington, DC studio. Please allow 3–5 business days for in-stock pieces to be carefully packaged and shipped.
All items ship via USPS with tracking included. Expedited shipping or signature confirmation are available upon request for an additional fee—please email me before checkout to arrange either option.
Once a package has been accepted by USPS, I cannot control delays, loss, or damage that may occur during transit. If a shipping issue arises, please contact USPS directly regarding its claims process. I am happy to provide any shipment details or documentation available from my end if needed.
Currently, I ship within the United States. For international inquiries, please reach out directly.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
2
All sales are final.
Every piece is carefully inspected before it leaves my studio.
Each piece is hand-fabricated in small batches or as a one-of-a-kind work. Please review sizing, measurements, and photos carefully before purchasing. I want you to love what you buy, so if you have any questions about a particular piece, please don't hesitate to reach out before purchasing. I'm always happy to help.
Because each piece is made by hand, small variations in color, texture, oxidation, finish, and form are part of the work, not a flaw.
These policies apply to purchases made through my website as well as at markets and pop-up events.
How do I care for my jewelry?
3
As moisture in the air can lead to tarnishing, store pieces in the box or pouch provided in a dry area, away from humidity and direct light when not being worn. You can also place an anti-tarnish strip in the jewelry box or pouch for further protection. If the jewelry comes in contact with any moisture (water, perfume, or sweat), be sure to wipe and dry the piece.
I do not recommend using a polishing cloth, as each of my pieces is finished intentionally—ranging from a mirror finish to matte, oxidized, or 24k gold Keum-boo surfaces—and abrasive polishing risks permanently altering or stripping these textures.
A note on enameled pieces: Enamel is powdered glass permanently fused to metal at high temperatures. While durable for everyday wear, it should be handled with care. Protect enameled pieces from impact, as they can chip or crack if dropped or struck against a hard surface. Always remove enameled jewelry before swimming, showering, or applying lotions. Store pieces individually in soft pouches.
Because of the handmade nature of my work and the materials used, not every piece can be repaired. If a repair is possible, I'm happy to discuss available options.
I have a metal sensitivity — is that something I should know about?
4
My jewelry incorporates a variety of metals and materials. Materials used for each piece are listed in the individual product description. Sterling silver is currently used for many components, including ear wires, posts, chains, findings, and handmade clasps.
If you have a known sensitivity or allergy to specific metals, please contact me before purchasing so we can discuss the materials used in a particular piece.
Because metal sensitivities vary from person to person, I cannot guarantee compatibility and am unable to accept returns or exchanges based on allergic reactions.
Do you take commissions or custom orders?
5
I occasionally accept commissions based on existing works from my collection. If you're interested in a variation on a piece you've seen, contact me and I'm happy to talk through what's possible.
Do you offer payment plans?
6
Absolutely! Please contact me prior to ordering, and I will help you set up a plan. Once the item is paid for in full, I will ship your jewelry to you. All other purchase policies apply.
