Selected for the 2025 Creative Craft Council Biennial Juried Exhibition, Teetering I – Truss is the first work in my Teetering series—an ongoing exploration of balance that has become a signature of my jewelry practice.
Beginning with the mathematically precise form of a triangle, these sculptural earrings transform repetition into a composition that feels both balanced and precarious. Suspended on delicate armatures, the geometric elements shift subtly with movement, making visible the delicate interplay between control and uncertainty.
Rather than resolving this tension, Teetering I – Truss invites it to remain, finding beauty in the space where stability and vulnerability coexist.

Each pair is individually handcrafted to order using the original design as its guide. Because every pair is fabricated entirely by hand, no two will be identical. Your earrings will be a faithful interpretation of the original design, with subtle variations that reflect the nature of handmade work.
Once your order is confirmed, a 50% deposit secures your place in my studio schedule and allows fabrication to begin. The remaining balance is due upon completion.
